Buying a work of art is a serious business, never more so than when you buy your first piece. Art is never cheap and as such it can sometimes be difficult to justify buying a painting or a piece of sculpture, especially when the benefits are so unquantifiable and intangible. Vitreous Contemporary Art believes that owning an original, one off work of art is a great blessing and we would like to make the process as easy on our clients as possible, therefore we offer the following services:
Pay for your artwork in instalments Vitreous Contemporary Art will allow you to pay for your chosen piece in anything up to four instalments. Upon payment of the first instalment the piece is reserved for you and after the final instalment has been paid we will deliver the piece to your home or you may collect it from the gallery.
Try the artwork in your home before making a decision When viewing a painting in a gallery, on a website or in a catalogue it can be very difficult to imagine what that same piece will look like in your home. If you live within the county of Cornwall, Vitreous Contemporary Art will personally deliver the piece to your home and hang it for you. If you are still not sure we will leave the piece with you for up to four days to give you time to think about it. If after that time you decide not to keep the piece we will come and collect it from you, all of this without any charge to you whatsoever.
DELIVERY
The following rates cover full postage and packaging to your chosen address, these rates do not include any additional costs eg import duty etc which are the responsibility of the buyer.
UK Mainland: £30 to £70 depending on the size and weight
International: £70 to £200 depending on the size, weight and destination
INSURANCE
For your peace of mind we insure all artworks during transit. Responsibility for the artwork falls on the buyer only after the delivery has been accepted, therefore the artwork should of course be inspected immediately.
UNCONDITIONAL MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
Vitreous Contemporary Art is committed to providing excellent service to its clients, therefore if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return the item to us providing you contact us within seven days of receipt. We will arrange collection as long as it has been re-packaged properly. Providing the item has been returned in perfect condition we will refund the entire amount you have paid including any shipping costs. As we will not hold you liable for any costs whatsoever in the event you should change your mind this will allow you to try the artwork in your home knowing that if the piece isn't suitable it won't have cost you a penny. Please note that this service only applies to UK customers.
