My work is about land and sky and the vapourous gossamer that blends the two. My perception of the elements is intensified by living three-hundred metres up on Bodmin Moor. Up here the edges get softened and blurred. The weather provides a truly unifying factor. Landscapes, rendered in vigourous brush strokes, are tirelessly destroyed beneath it's sheer diaphanous layers. Rhythms of light add drama while an overall air of isolation and stillness permeate.
