"Even the most mundane things can be beautiful if you look at them in the right way. It's a great moment when you see these things and are struck or moved by them and, for me, when I'm most glad to have my camera. I am currently in my final year of a degree in Technical Arts and Special Effects at Wimbledon School of Art. For my course I make props, costumes, puppets and special effects make-up for film and theatre, however my main interests are in photography and filmmaking. I love taking photographs and carry my camera nearly everywhere I go in the hope of seeing something or someone that catches my eye. It's important to me to record, through photography, the places and the people I have come across in foreign countries and at home as a way of keeping them in some way. I use photography as a way of trying to stop time, or rather preserve it in that one moment, in the hope of capturing something that may otherwise pass unnoticed."
