"I'm an artist, Illustrator & animator based in London, My objective throughout college was always to put the music of the bands Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth onto paper, I don't know how well I've achieved this but, maybe my work feels more like Elliot Smith or Pavement, I don't know.
I've always been inspired by the work of ‘J Mascis', singer and guitarist in the now disbanded band ‘Dinosaur Jr', for his attitude and playfulness.
Dinosaur Jr's bassist and later Mascis's nemesis ‘Lou Barlow' has also proven to be a massive source of influence to me, especially when it comes to my animation work which has the same lo-fi feel at Lou's 1987-9 home recordings under the name of ‘Sebadoh'. For me they are kind of like Lennon and McCarty although they never really worked together in the same way.
I would love to make a music video promo.
When I make a painting I'm really trying to make a song, I love music more than I do art so my drawings and paintings are my music, I try to give them a beat, a volume, bass line and guitar feedback depending on how I'm feeling or what I'm trying to express, songs are most about a love or hate of something."
