Lizzie Stevens

"Whilst I enjoy a curiosity for experimenting with different media, subject matter and scale, I think it works best when it results from some sort of physical challenge - hence I particularly love to work large and with texture and objects found on walks. I like to think this can evoke a physical and emotional response, having stretched the physical and given the head a bit of a rest! My (frequent) choice of working with the figure derives from my need to connect with others."
