- 1973-2000: Raised four children
- 2000: Realised lifelong ambition to paint, moved to Falmouth
- 2002: Completed Foundation in Art and Design course at Falmouth College of Arts, with distinction
- 2001-2004: Painting and drawing trips to Turkey, Egypt and Andalusia
- 2002 to date: Studying for BA (Hons) degree at Falmouth University College
