Dave Chattaway Born in 1957 in Coventry, Warwickshire Dave Chattaway moved to Cornwall after a divorce in 1992. He is totally self taught and has only been painting seriously for the last two years. Dave lists John William Waterhouse, Robert Lenkiewicz and Jack Vettriano as some of his favourite artists and it is easy to see how they have influenced Dave's work. Romantic Pop Art and Women in Oils are his main subjects but on occasion Dave also paints Seascapes, Landscapes and Erotic Art Dave exhibits regularly at the Camelford Gallery in Camelford, the Rocky Valley Gallery in Tintagel and the Snook Gallery in Wadebridge and will soon be showing his work at the Windmill Gallery in Launceston.
