Catherine Knight My new work has been inspired by a recent trip to Sweden. The warm interior of a house or café compared to the cold weather outside. I am fascinated by the interaction of figures in a space and the colours and shapes created. I am influenced by the people and places around me and my life feeds into my painting. I have recently moved into a new studio space and am excited to see how this change will affect my work. I paint from film stills and photographs and memory also plays a large part.
